इस पोस्ट में मैं आपको Active and Passive Voice of Present Continuous Tense के बारे में बताऊंगा। Present continuous tense पर आधारित active and passive voice को अच्छी तरह से समझने के लिए excercise के साथ answer भी दिया गया है । इस पोस्ट को पढ़ने से पहले एक बार Active to Passive Voice के rules को जरूर समझ ले।

Hindi and English Pattern of Present Continuous Tense Active Sentence

Active Voice of present continuous tense ( In Hindi )

कर्त्ता + कर्म + धातु + रहा है/रही है/रहे हैं
मैं आम खा रहा हूँ
वह आम खा रही है
वे लोग आम खा रहे हैं

 

Active Voice of present continuous tense ( in english )

Subject + am/is/are + V + Object
I am eating a mango
She is eating a mango
They are eating mangoes

Hindi and English Pattern of Present Continuous Tense Passive Sentence

Passive Voice of Present Continuous Tense ( in hindi )

कर्त्ता + संज्ञा/सर्वनाम + के द्वारा + धातु + जा रहा है/जा रही है/जा रहे हैं
मुझे उसके द्वारा प्यार किया जा रहा है
आम उसके द्वारा खाया (खा + या) जा रहा है
आम उनके द्वारा खाया (खा + या) जा रहा है

 

Passive Voice of Present Continuous Tense ( in english )

Subject + am/is/are + being + V3 + by + object (agent)
I am being loved by her
A mango is being eaten by her
Mangoes are being eaten by them

Rules :

  • Passive voice में active voice के object को passive का subject तथा subject को passive का object बना दिया जाता है
  • Present continuous tense के sentence को passive voice में chnage करने के लिए am/is/are/ + being + V3 का इस्तेमाल करते है।
  • Passive voice में helping verb (am/is/are) का इस्तेमाल subject के अनुसार होता है।
  • Negative sentence में ‘not + being’ को helping verb के बाद लगाते है और Interrogative Sentence में helping verb का इस्तेमाल वाक्य के आरंभ में करते है।

नीचे table (तालिका) में देख सकते है passive voice के helping verb का इस्तेमाल subject के अनुसार होता है।

1st Person He is loving me. (Active) He is loving us. (Active)
I am being loved by him. (Passive) We are being loved by him. (passive)
2nd Person He is loving you. (Active)
You are being loved by him. (Passive)
3rd Person He is loving her. (Active) He is beating them. (Active)
She is being loved by him. (Passive) They are being beaten by him. (Passive)

Affirmative / Positive Sentence Subject + am/is/are + V4  + Object S (convert object to subject) + am/is/are + being + V3 + by + O (convert subject to object) + Remaining
I am buying a car. A car is being bought by me.
The boy is answering the question. The question is being answered by the boy.
The children are painting the wall. The wall is being painting by the children.
Negative Sentence Subject + am/is/are + not + V4  + object S (convert object to subject) + am/is/are + not + being + V3 + by + O (convert subject to object) + remaining
Ram is not beating him. He is not being beaten by Ram.
Priya is not buying a book. A book is not being bought by Priya.
She is not loving me. I am not being loved by her.
Interrogative Sentence am/is/are + Subject + V+ Object Am/Is/Are/ + S (convert object to subject) + being + V3 + by + O (convert subject to object) + Remaining
Is Ram showing great respect to his parents ? Are his parents being shown great respect by Ram ?
Is he reading book everyday ? Is book being read by him everyday ?
Is Ram eating a mango ? Is a mango being eaten by Ram ?

Excercise :

Change the following sentences into the passive form.

  1. You are doing this.
  2. We are doing nothing.
  3. The boys are playing cricket.
  4. She is drawing a picture.
  5. My sons are doing this.
  6. The doctor is examining the patient.
  7. The boy is answering the question.
  8. Mohan is helping her.
  9. We are doing nothing against you.
  10. They are doing nothing for us.
  11. She is watering the flowers.
  12. He is not wearing a tie.
  13. My sister is talking to a stranger.
  14. The children are laughing at the old beggar.
  15. I am waiting for her.

Answers :

  1. This is being done by you.
  2. Nothing is being done by us.
  3. Cricket is being played by the boys.
  4. A picture is being drawn by her.
  5. This is being done by my sons.
  6. The patient is being examined by the doctor.
  7. The question is being answered by the boy.
  8. She is being helped by Mohan.
  9. Nothing is being done against you.
  10. Nothing is being done for us.
  11. The flowers are being watered by her.
  12. A tie is not being weared by him.
  13. A stranger is being talked to my sister.
  14. The old beggar is being laughed at by the children.
  15. She is being waited for by me.
